can protect CCl4-induced liver damage. Isoliquiritigenin stimulates detoxification system via Nrf2 activation, which could be a potential protective mechanism of licorice. Isoliquiritigenin effectively inhibits colitis-associated tumorigenesis through hampering M2 macrophage polarization mediated by the interplay between PGE2 and IL-6. |
